I love science.

No I mean I really love science!

With that in mind and if you love science too you are going to really dig this website. I found it a couple years ago and visit it many times a week! You can find an article on just about anything here that is remotely sciencey! What do you think about flying cars or vampire crabs or your secrete brain functions? I’ve found so many articles that were engaging and every interesting on this web site so I’m sharing it with you all! Personally, my favorite topic is Space. What’s yours?!

Hi friends!

This week I want to take you to a website that should really be my home page. Yahoo Food. I’ve gotten so many cool recipes here! Yahoo Food has also given me many ideas to try and since I live with four guys I don’t have a lack of test subjects to try them out on.

So, if you like looking at food, eating food, or just food in general you’ll enjoy Yahoo’s webpage dedicated to just that. It’s not all about cake either. You’ll find healthy alts to your all time favorites and okay yes, you’ll find cake. 😛 Have you ever had a meatloaf cupcake?

I hope you all have a great weekend everyone!

Ciao!

Hello followers!

For my Weekly Web Wondering (WWW) this week I am taking you to a website I’ve been traveling to since my college days. First, let me ask you this, do you like it quick? How about dirty? Haha, ok ok. *Composure* Check out the link below for some quick and dirty life tips. My personal favorite is Grammar Girl! 😀

I’ve been visiting Grammar Girl for years and love her articles and pod-casts. So much great information to be learned and shared there. Also, if you run into a grammatical pit you can usually find the answer. There or Their or They’re? Whoa or Woah? You’ll just have to look and see. 😉

Head on over to http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Ciao!

Hi everyone! I found this super cool recipe on how to make bourbon balls at http://www.brit.co/ Great party appraiser idea or movie night snack! When I first came across it, my initial reaction was, “whaaaaat? Okay, we so have to try this!!!” What? I like balls. 😛 What do you think of this recipe? Check out the full article by Alexis Monson

Ingredients:

  • 14 cinnamon graham crackers
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup natural or bittersweet cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup bourbon

Toppings (Optional):

  • crushed Fruity Pebbles
  • crushed graham crackers
  • sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Toast the walnuts for 7 minutes. Let cool.

  2. In a food processor, grind the graham crackers to a dust.

  3. When the walnuts are cool, grind them in the food processor, but not so much that they turn into a paste.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine graham cracker dust, ground walnuts, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. Grate ginger on top, and stir to combine.

  5. Stir in honey and bourbon. You might have to use your hands to get the honey and bourbon to fully incorporate.

  6. Using your hands, roll the dough into one-inch, bite-size balls.

  7. Once you’ve rolled all the dough, grind both the graham crackers and the Fruity Pebbles in the food processor, separately. If you want bigger flecks of Fruity Pebbles to dot your balls, which we highly recommend, take it easy on them in the food processor. Place toppings in three separate bowls.

  8. One by one, roll the bourbon balls in your topping of choice to cover. Then eat!

Oh happy day!!!

xoxo

I’ve been finding it difficult to make time for posting content on my blog lately. I don’t know if it’s because I’m tired or if I really am just too busy? In either case, I am trying to remedy my inactivity because I really do enjoy blogging and I need to make time for the things I enjoy. So, I want to see where this goes and if it feels right I’ll make it a regular thing like my Family Interactions posts. This is my Weekly Website Wondering.
